Fences

Fences have numerous benefits for homeowners. Fences provide a more defined sense of property, as well as improved security. They offer wind shelter for your outdoor kitchen, BBQ grill, fire pit or playground. A well-designed fence can blend into your landscape and complement your overall landscape plan. Plus, fencing adds value to your home – a well-designed landscape with fencing adds an average of 15 – 20 percent to your resale value!

To get the most value and enjoyment from your landscaping, we recommend considering and combining all elements of your outdoor design into one seamless architectural plan. Fencing is an important part of this plan, and optimally should be considered before you implement the rest of your plan. Working with a professional designer ensures a cohesive appearance and lasting beauty for your yard. Plus, a landscape design professional can guide you through the logistics of construction, such as access to areas for installation, and minimizing damage to turf or other landscape elements.

At Green Acres Landscaping, we design and build a wide variety of fences, from decorative to privacy to wind barrier fences. We work with a diverse array of building materials, from simple chain link fences, to wood board fences in classic patterns, to custom fencing of wood, wrought iron and corrugated metals. One of our newest offering is screen fencing, which gives your property a private, yet friendly and welcoming, look.

The fencing process always begins with our customers’ ideas, so we recommend you do a bit of thinking on where you would like your fence and what type of building materials you like. The next step is to meet with one of our professional designers to discuss your goals, ideas and budget. We will then prepare a plan and estimate for your approval. Keep in mind that fencing ranges from $30 to more than $70 per linear foot, depending on materials, style, options and accessibility.

As a professional design/build landscaping company, we can assist you in developing and implementing your overall landscaping plan. We can also install fencing as a standalone project within an existing setting.
